_GIVE

Help us keep our programs affordable. Every donation allows us to lower our costs, giving more people with disabilities the opportunity to join us on our life-changing outdoor adventures. We provide participants with scholarships and all the necessary supplies, equipment, adaptations as needed, and instruction!
Outdoor Explorations is a philanthropic nonprofit and all donations are 100% tax-deductible. If you are interested in arranging a special gift such as stock, multi-year gifts, or through a will, please call us at 781-395-4999.

Adventures provide the opportunity to grow, learn, and make new friends!

VOLUNTEER

We are looking for people who are passionate about the outdoors and helping others. We have office, event, and program volunteers. We select our program volunteers each season and provide on-site training in First Aid, Accessibility, and Trip Skills. If you are interested in joining us please check out the calendar of activities to see that you are ready and available for our next volunteer training session.

       Who is eligible?
  • People age 18+ who are willing to participate in our quarterly half-day training, obtain CPR and First Aid certification, agree to a background check, and commit to participating in at least three events during the season in which they want to volunteer.

  • People with and without disabilities. Just like our participants, our volunteers have a range of abilities. Volunteers must be able to perform the functions necessary to assist participants during the events.

  • People with a desire to serve and spread the OE mission. We believe that everyone's life benefits by having outdoor experiences, including individuals with and without disabilities. Our volunteers believe that the outdoors should be accessible to everyone.
