By Car

From Boston and Points South:
Take I-93 North to Exit 29. Follow Route 38 North (Mystic Ave.) under the highway. About 1.5 miles from I-93, you'll see Dunkin Donuts on your right, just before a traffic light. Turn left at this light onto Harvard Street. Go through two sets of traffic lights. After the second light, take your first left, onto Winchester Street. This turn is opposite a Tufts University building. If you go under the railroad bridge you've gone too far. Go about a half-mile on Winchester Street. After you pass Newbern Avenue, you'll see our parking lot on the left, behind a chain-link fence. We are in a small group of blue-gray buildings along with Nardone Electric.

From North of Boston:
Take I-93 South to Exit 31. At the bottom of the off-ramp, turn right and go through the traffic light onto Harvard Street. Go straight through three more sets of traffic lights. Winchester Street is the next left after the third light.

From West of Boston:
From the Mass Pike/I-90, go north on Route 128/I-95. Go East on Route 2 and follow the directions below.

From Northwest of Boston:
Take Route 2 East to Alewife. Stay left as you approach Alewife and the speed limit drops. Then turn onto Route 16 East. Go about one mile, then turn right onto Broadway at the supermarket, Johnnie's Foodmaster. Follow Broadway straight through Teal Square (don't take the right fork) and straight through the rotary at Powderhouse Square. Go through Ball Square and over a bridge. Take the sharp left onto Winchester Street. As soon as you turn you'll see the OE building on the right. We are in a small group of blue-gray buildings along with Nardone Electric.

Breaking Down Barriers to Adventure
"The best part was seeing the clients with physical disabilities or fear of heights make the effort to climb the walls. People who never thought they could do this had the opportunity to be proud of themselves."
-Joe Breen, HICS recreation program coordinator (Climb and Dine 3.14.08)
